FREESTYLE ICE @Bellerive
See Today's Freestyle Schedule.
Freestyle ice are private sessions that are sold to figure skaters in 30 minute blocks to those wishing to practice their skating skills. Skaters practice their routines, jumps spin and choreographic moves. It is also a time where coaches give their private lessons. Skaters must pre-register for all freestyle via the Bellerive Mindbody booking system.
Bellerive Ice Skating Center provides some of the best freestyle ice with in the city of Houston. Bellerive does not host any Public Sessions or Learn to Skate Classes therefore our ice is kept in pristine condition.
(Parents looking to place their children into Learn to Skate Lessons should contact: Aerodrome (Northwest), Sugar Land Ice Skating Complex, Galleria, or Memorial City Mall).
Freestyles sessions are available most weekdays and there is usually limited weekend freestyle ice. Also check out our early morning sessions! (See calendar for details).
There is a minimum skating ability/level required to use Bellerive Freestyle Ice - Click HERE

Bellerive Ice skating Center is managed in a unique and convenient way! We do not have permanent in-house coaches on staff, and also have no need to employ coaches for learn to skate classes. At Bellerive we consider you a customer, albeit an important one!
If you are a certified coach holding the required credentials and attain sufficient liability insurance then you may apply to be authorized to teach your private lessons at Bellerive Ice center.
Once authorized, coaches must sign up to teach on a freestyle much the same as skaters. However an authorized coach will receive a personal discount code with up to 75% discount from the regular freestyle price. Of course there are rules which must be observed that are similar to most ice rinks through out the country. So if you are qualified coach and want to bring your skaters along for extra practice and lessons please contact us to get authorized!
Under no circumstances will unauthorized and/or unqualified coaches be allowed into the rink facility to teach private lessons.
